As one of the insects to use for the metamorphosis project I decided to illustrate a cricket shedding it's skin. It is slightly different from the butterfly coming out of it's chrysalis, but still fits because the chrysalis is just the skin of the caterpillar with a bit of metamorphosis itself.
I started by finding an appropriate clip and taking the 21 screenshots to make the 3 x 7 layout of the posters.
Next I drew each frame and scanned them in just as the others, separating them out and then vectoring them in illustrator. So completes the next stage of the metamorphosis brief.
