Developing the style

To try and get the 50's style of illustrative design, I have tried working with an idea I had of a booklet or a chapter called "Zombies and You" in a kind of classic almost comedic tone of voice which loads of cold war propaganda had back then.

I started by drawing out some characters by hand before putting them into illustrator and vectoring them fully. I also added some type in a couple of different experiments.
