The Drunken Zombie Film Festival is a festival very similar to the Leeds Zombie Film Festival, but hosted in Illinois. It also seems to have a bit more emphasis on shorts and on much more low budget, independent zombie films.
It, too, has been running since 2007.
The tone of voice of this festival is a little bit more formal, though the amount of design consideration seems to be a little more, as some of these examples below show.
Though the website doesn't quite fit the design quality in the above examples:
