Zombie Film Festival

The Leeds Zombie film festival is an annual festival held at the Cottage Road cinema. When talking to Gary Benn about the festival, he made it clear that it is very popular and one of the biggest selling events of the year.

The festival:

The festival began in 2007 as the combined effort of Dominic Brunt and Mark Charnock, two friends and actors best known for their parts in Emmerdale. The festival screens a series of specifically chosen zombie films for over 18's only, tickets costing £15 and all proceeds going to the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals).
Everybody likes animals.

The tone of the whole event is very casual:

I will contact the festival info directly to ask some more questions about their promotion and distribution and ask who designs the posters each year (they seem to be done by the same designer).

The info contact link on the website bounces emails straight back and the contact form doesn't work, but I think I found a working email address to someone that can help: andrea@poppyseedmedia.co.uk

These are some examples of past promotion and the current film festival website. It looks like this festival could do with a bit of professional design, but the casual tone of voice of the whole thing means that it isn't too much of an issue.
